About the Role

The Assistant Facilities Manager will provide critical support to the Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep of a shopping centre in Brisbane West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of hard and soft services, including contractor induction and management, OH&S, preventative, and reactive maintenance.
  • Contribute to OPEX and CAPEX budget management, delivering small projects and assisting with tenancy coordination.
  • Provide overall operational support, ensuring the smooth running of the shopping centre.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Facilities, Maintenance, or Operations Assistant/Coordinator.
  • Strong administration and technical skills, with a focus on property-specific terminology.
  • Ability to learn and understand industry-specific terminology, confidently liaising with professionals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize at a high level.
