THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Strategic Engagement Advisor to work for our federal government client, on an initial 12-month contract.
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating complex stakeholder engagement and partnership management functions, working closely with key stakeholders across the digital health landscape and government to ensure awareness and uptake of digital health across Australia. You will oversee the development and delivery of contracts and activities between the Agency and specific priority stakeholders on a range of digital health initiatives.
You must have the ability to exercise sound decision making and judgement while undertaking complex problem solving and issues management and have experience coordinating and undertaking detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic or operational outcomes. You must be able to communicate with influence through different channels including stakeholder workshops.
Key requirements
- An understanding of the digital health landscape
- Experience working with key program initiatives, or the ability to quickly gain an understanding of these
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at senior levels
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous government experience would be desirable
This role can be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney with great flexible working options.
