Job Description

  • Prepare and cook food orders efficiently.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food according to regulations.
  • Keep work area, equipment, and section clean following hygiene standards.
  • Monitor kitchen's food requirements and communicate them in advance.
  • Control food preparation and wastage costs by following standard recipes.
  • Support Head Chef with menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies for service.

Qualifications

  • Chef trade qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication skills - ability to take direction and lead.
  • Strong knife skills.
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays.
