Our client is seeking to engage a Program Manager.

Location: Canberra, ACT

Contract Length: from 01 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Eligibility/Security Requirement: The contracted Key Person is required to have a minimum NEGATIVE VETTING 1 (NV1) security clearance at the commencement of the contract.

Deliverables:
  • Plan, manage and coordinate validation test activities and tasks across the LCS Validation frame.
  • Support the synchronization of information across the three teams within the Land LCS Validation to support SO2 Validation reporting to LNIC leadership.
  • Engage LNIC business management and HR staff to support the SO2 Validation in managing the Land LCS Validation frame workforce.
  • Manage the battle rhythm of the LCS Validation frame.
  • Support resource management and forecasting.
  • Support the management of the SO2 LCS Validation frame budget.
  • Support the engagement between the LCS Validation frame, executive team, business support and other frames within LNIC.
  • Provide other reasonable services as tasked by the LNIC Executive Staff; and
  • Support the SO2 Validation as required.
Qualification and Experience:
  • a minimum of 8 years of Industry experience in Project Management in order to meet the Level 3 DSS panel requirements.
  • Proven experience as a business manager or relevant role
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
It is a REQUIREMENT that the LCS PM is primarily based in Canberra.

It is a HIGHLY DESIRABLE that the LCS PM has extensive (greater than twelve years) experience in project/ program support, in the Department's domain.

This should include the development of project/ program management artefacts.

It is a DESIRABLE that the LCS PM has the following qualification and/or experience:
  • A detailed understanding of the Department's Capability System policy and processes
  • High order stakeholder management skills (internal and cross-organization)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Delivering within the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act
  • Budgeting, planning, and reporting experience.
