Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Program Execution: Execute programs or subsystems of major programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance targets are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage the input from support functions to ensure internal and external program reporting meets the expectations of stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation: Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes, support the preparation of business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Customer Relationship: Act as customer contact for program activities, co-leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Advanced Experience: Advanced experience in managing and executing programs to include Australian industry, Australian Government and United State Government (USG) stakeholders.
- Exceptional Ability: Exceptional ability to develop enduring customer relationships with both the Australian customers and US suppliers.
- International Trade Compliance: Advanced experienced in working closely with International Trade Compliance and understanding export rules and regulations.
- Direct Commercial Sales: Extensive experience in international direct commercial sales and foreign military sales.
- Agile Development: Advanced knowledge of Agile Development Processes.
- License Production Agreement: Advanced experience in transferring technology under a License Production agreement (desirable).
