The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the Alliance General Manager, the HR & IR Manager will be assigned to Gippsland Line Upgrade Project, where we are the principal contractor and part of an alliance. Great career exposure for a stakeholder focused HR Manager.

Key responsibilities include

  • Provide day to day advice and dispute management solutions in line with industrial instruments and fair treatment process.
  • Ensure maintenance of upto date positions descriptions.
  • Oversee the mobilisation functions for all projects responsible for and assist mobilisation team where required.
  • Manage redeployment process of employees with the NOPs.
  • Strategically contribute to workforce planning and oversee the transfer of employees between projects ensuring employee engagement.
  • Maintain reporting and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the Project's State Requirements Target including Social Procurement, Aboriginal Engagement and Priority Job Seeker Targets

Requirements to be successful

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated competency in managing the various HR functions of Planning and Recruitment
