The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and providing support to the Accounts Receivable Officer
  • Monitoring customer accounts for nonpayments, delayed payments, irregularities
  • Processing EFT receipts from customers in Oracle.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries.
  • Liaise with customers on overdue debt
  • Investigate unallocated payments
  • Calculate and record Accruals for claims not processed.
  • Monthend reconciliations and closures
  • Prepare credit reports to HQ.
  • Supervise customer credit / claims process
  • Assisting the Head of Finance in ensuring internal controls are being met

Preferred Experience:

The successful applicant ideally will have:

  • 5+ years in AR with some leadership experience
  • Ability to work autonomously & drive standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation & rapport building
  • Proven ability to manage/coach/lead staff
  • Strong planning & time management
