We're seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Group Services team at MYOB. As a key member of our Credit Control team, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling accounts in accordance with our contracts' terms and conditions.
Our clients are busy running their businesses, and sometimes they need a gentle reminder. That's where you come in - you'll work with a diverse range of people, making each day interesting, challenging, fun, and exciting. The team has a wealth of experience and is eager to share knowledge to drive the success of the group.
Critical to the success of the team is the timely and effective communication on the phone and via email, striking the balance of providing a great service and recovering outstanding funds.
Your Key Responsibilities- Handle enquiries via the ZenDesk queue primarily, actioning client tickets, and fielding any unrelated queries to the relevant department
- Making proactive calls to resolve 60+ day debtors
- Handling any inbound inquiries from clients or internal partners
- Contribute to the achievement of team targets related to MYOB debtors
- Raising complex queries to Supervisor
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, more specifically the administration of accounts
- Experience in a credit control/accounts receivable role
- Experience in an accounts/finance environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficient in the use and application of CRM systems/finance software packages
