About the role
The role of the Project Manager is to establish, plan, execute and finalise projects according to plan. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. The Project Manager will oversee quality control throughout its project lifecycle and effectively apply project management methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Define how the scope, goals, and deliverables of projects support business goals, in collaboration with senior management.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to project sponsors, business owners, business managers, technology team and the core project team.
- Develop full-scale project briefs, plans and associated communication documents aligned to either Waterfall or Agile project management framework.
- Run small, medium to large complex projects from concept, design, and development to production
- Create strategies for project risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, project documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Conduct project implementation reviews and create recommendations for HCF Project Steering Committee.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and between various project teams.
- Taking responsibility of all problems that arise in the project and solving them in a timely manner.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will have the following:
- IBM OpenPages implementation Experience
- Governance, Risk & Compliance Project Experience
- Formal project management qualification with certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar.
- Experience and qualifications with agile project delivery preferably Scale Agile and Scrum.
- Demonstrated capabilities to lead, deliver projects and business initiatives with full budget and operational responsibility.
- Relevant work experience in both business and technical (IT) project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution applying the SDLC process.
- Understand the processes and terminology and have a fundamental knowledge of the PMBOK Guide
- Strong familiarity with MS Office and Risk Management Tools.
- An effective communicator, with the proven ability to manage and interact with people across all levels of an organisation to successfully motivate people in effective change processes
- Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
- Experience in utilizing Jira and Confluence tools within an Agile project management framework.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
