THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Lead (Payroll Supervisor) to join our dynamic team in Bayswater. You will be supporting and managing the Payroll Team, while performing the general Payroll tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mentor and manage the Payroll Team
  • Deliver the fortnightly payroll, including but not limited to the accurate processing of associated payroll documentation, preparation and data entry of timesheets, payment of superannuation and other associated processes and payments
  • Interpret multiple Enterprise Agreements and modern awards
  • Endtoend payroll management including reconciliations, reporting, adjustments, deductions, monthend and yearend processes
  • Be the key contact person for any payroll related queries
  • Identify development and training needs for the team
  • Workcover management
  • Identify and implement process and system improvement
  • Other duties and projects as required

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to take accountability for the performance of the payroll department
  • Outstanding problemsolving and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of Awards and relevant procedures and legislations
  • Good understanding of employee entitlements
  • Experience in JDE and KRONOS systems would be highly regarded
