About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our innovative development team located in Toowong, Brisbane.
That special someone, with an impressive track record of delivering on custom Salesforce development projects, will help drive the development and delivery of technical solutions on the Salesforce platform as part of a team dedicated to building a new platform from the ground up.

Compare the Market is redeveloping its core platform and using this to underpin all our service offerings including Energy, Insurance, Lending, and more to come, so there will be scope to work on a range of unique projects across our whole business.
Skills and Experience


• Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying complex custom-built solutions on the Salesforce platform

• Development of Salesforce applications in APEX programming language and Lightning Web Component

• Technical knowledge and expertise of the Salesforce platform, framework, and ecosystem.

• A passion for Salesforce software development excellence, creative problem-solving ability, good communication, and a collaborative mindset.

• Demonstrated ability to write clean maintainable Apex code as part of a continuous integration and delivery process.


• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of:
o Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Lightning Framework.
o Salesforce APIs and integrating with internal/external applications.
o Version control software such as GIT.
o AWS and ISO compliance framework.
o JIRA & Confluence.


• Design and develop Web Services or RESTful APIs

• Write Apex unit test and maintain a high level of code test coverage

• Uncompromising eye for detail and adherence to standards when it comes to product and solutions delivery and continuous improvement.

• A passion for maintaining strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and practices.

• Experience working in sophisticated, cross-functional technical environments requiring timely resolution and strategic actions.

• Experience in the Apex Enterprise Framework and Unlocked Package is highly desirable.
