Special Counsel – Estates & Commercial – Top Law Firm - Brisbane
Exciting Opportunity for a Special Counsel in Estate Planning and Commercial Solutions. We are looking for an experienced lawyer to join our client's commercial and private team. The role involves providing expert advice in estate planning, self-managed superannuation, asset protection, structuring, and succession planning, along with broader commercial solutions.
Salary: $170,000 to $200,000 (Negotiable)

The Role:
Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for estate and succession planning. Experience with family trusts and self-managed superannuation funds is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of clients, their families, and their businesses to offer practical solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic advice on asset protection and succession for high-net-worth clients
- Managing succession and estate planning for businesses and structures
- Handling asset protection matters and establishing various asset structures
- Drafting comprehensive Wills
- Dealing with Powers of Attorney
- Addressing tax considerations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years PAE in a reputable firm
- Expertise in estate and succession planning
- Experience in drafting wills and trusts
- Proficiency in handling trusts and funds for succession planning
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and mentor team members
- Outcome-focused approach with the ability to manage time effectively
- Independence in work and experience in commercial law
