We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting strategic engagement and advocacy with all levels of Government and industry associations.

  • Provide strategic government relations and advocacy advice and monitor relevant changes to government policies and their impacts;
  • Facilitate and lead IGO's engagement with key industry associations;
  • Develop and manage the framework for our corporate giving program and effectively manage the relationships with our community partners;
  • Seek to understand value and impact from our partnerships and monitor for effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience working in Government Relations, Corporate Affairs or a related field;
  • Strong understanding of the political landscape around Australia and capability to quickly understand complex issues and their impact;
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and corporate partners;
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Government Relations, Public/Corporate Affairs, Journalism or similar;
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
