As the Data Analyst, you will provide insightful customer, claims and industry analysis and reporting to improve business decision making and monitor business performance.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design, building and distribution of internal and external reports
  • Data extraction with a strong focus on automation
  • Proactive analysis of data to identify opportunities and deliver actionable insights to support decision making, maximise nib's performance and guide the member journey
  • Communication of insights through various forums including steering committees and management papers
Let's talk about you

You will have tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics (or related discipline).

We will consider recent graduates or those studying that may not have experience or previously worked in a similar role.


You possess a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, along with a high level of computer literacy in MS Excel, write SQL queries to extract data from various databases and creating dashboards and reporting in software like Tableau.


Furthermore, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and create concise reports
  • Strong organisational, presentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised and with others as part of a team
