Reporting directly to their Registered Nurses, you'll be responsible for the delivery of care and services to Care Recipients in all areas of activities of daily living in accordance with the Care Recipients identified needs and preferences.
A day in the life as their Personal Care Assistant may see you; Personal hygiene, grooming, manicuring and oral hygiene.
Assisting those Care Recipients' with challenging behaviours, by participation in the development and implementation of an individually designed management plan.
Supports and assists Care Recipients with food and fluids as required.
About you As a Personal Care Assistant, ideally with experience within the health and/or aged care sector, you'll have: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Computer literacy Certificate III in Aged Care or Undergraduate Bachelor's of Nursing student Previous experience in a similar role – desirable but not essential
