We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Aged Care Resumes, dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our elderly residents. As an Enrolled Nurse in our complex care aged care facility, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients; residents and clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or supervisor.

• Professional Practice:
  • Practice in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse.
  • Assist with the implementation of care plans under the direction of healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate commitment to person-centred care and best practice standards.
  • Provide for the physical and emotional needs of residents, patients, clients by assisting with the activities of daily living and encouraging appropriate self-care.
  • Ensure the delivery of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to consumers.
  • Demonstrate and maintain competency in the performance of clinical skills.
• Clinical/Management of Care:
  • Provides nursing care of individuals and groups within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
  • Completes comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients/residents.
  • Deviations or changes in a patient's normal condition, including vital observations which may indicate deterioration, are acted upon appropriately and promptly.
  • A plan of care is developed and documented in consultation with the patient/resident and relevant others and identifies expected outcomes, including a timeframe.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures.

• Current Nursing Registration with Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA).
• Certificate IV in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing.
