We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Karana, a reputable aged care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our elderly residents.

As an Enrolled Nurse in our complex care aged care facility, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients; residents and clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse
  • Assist with the implementation of care plans under the direction of healthcare professionals
  • Demonstrate commitment to person-centred care and best practice standards
  • Provide for the physical and emotional needs of residents, patients, clients by assisting with the activities of daily living and encouraging appropriate self-care
  • Ensure the delivery of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to consumers
  • Demonstrate and maintain competency in the performance of clinical skills
Requirements

Yarrawonga Health is a local public health service providing lower complexity acute inpatient services, residential aged care, primary and community health services.

The health service comprises of 19 acute medical and surgical beds, two labour delivery rooms, an operating theatre and day-stay unit, three residential homes onsite with a total of 88 beds, as well as a comprehensive range of Allied Health and Community Services.
