The Role
We are now seeking a Junior eCommerce Manager to join our Artisanal Design client in their Marrickville office.


This exciting and blended role will see you take on full ownership of the brand Website, EDMs, Paid Social, Customer Care and Pick & Pack Management.


  • A minimum of 34 years working at a Coordinator level
  • A strong understanding of Shopify and the apps available to drive automation and improve site performance
  • Previous experience working across customer care. Former experience working as a team lead in the customer care space will be viewed favourably for this role
  • A clear passion for staying across trends, technologies and new platforms in the digital space
  • Wellversed experience in Shopify, meta fields and image size optimisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the Website, EDMs, Paid Social, Customer Care, Pick and Pack Management
  • Manage a pick pack team and customer care support
  • The role will supervise and monitor many automations and AI programs that remove nonvalueadded tasks, and you will be supported to optimised automation to create free time _free time for thought and reflection are our primary goal. A free thinker is a creator_
  • Update the website for new season launches/sales programs including but not limited to:
a. Homepage
b. New collection pages
c. Load product images, descriptions
d. Create sale collections and update prices as required.
e. Must be well versed in Shopify, meta fields, image size optimisation

  • Manage EDM calendar and create EDMs in Klaviyo
a. Create weekly or fortnightly EDMs in line with brand tone of voice and creative direction
b. Create and update flow on a seasonal basis
c. Review and optimise as required to grow customers and engagement

  • You will be supported to create and manage Paid social media ads
a. Together with support you will create ads and will be trained to review and monitor.
b. Together with support you will learn and develop new ways to optimise

  • You will review website KPIS
a. Traffic
b. Returns rates
c. Policies (returns/shipping)
d. Sales by country
e. Sales by currency
f. Shipping costs
g. Based on analysis and change in metrics (over time) provide recommendations for improvements, changes in policy to drive optimal performance

  • Recommend and implement apps to improve site performance, sales and customer journey outcomes
  • Present ideas to management, and once approved, own the process including managing dev to implement ideas
  • Be proactive is ongoing change, questioning why, and experimentation. _"just because everyone does it one way does not mean it is right, be ready to break the rules and implement new creative ideas be brave"_
  • Stay at the forefront of the market to discover new trends/technologies/platforms that will improve site performance
  • Utilise site analytics to make strategic recommendations and improvement for KPI growth
  • Research and recommend "new" apps to drive automation, remove complexity, and simply for brand and customer
