About Katz Recruitment:

This client is looking for a positive, motivated and driven Internal Sales Specialist to join their high performing team. This well-established organisation based in Adelaide.

The Opportunity:

The positions main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide internal and external stakeholders a first class service
  • Build, grow and maintain long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Convert business contact into sales
  • Provide minor technical assistance to customers or refer customers with major technical queries to the Territory Sales Team or Technical Support Team
  • Check on credit status of customers to ensure they are within purchasing limits
  • Monitor product stock levels and liaise with purchasing department and operations manager as required
  • Use data entry skills to process orders
  • Use internal system for stock ordering and monitor volume tracking
  • Deliver high end customer support to customers and give them the best possible service every time
  • Maintain and update knowledge of current and new products
  • Follow up on enquiries and convert to sales and ongoing service opportunities
  • Create bill of materials as required
  • Source products from external suppliers if required
  • Support team members to ensure customers are being looked after
  • Identify new opportunities in the market for existing and potential new ranges of products

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience working within the hydraulics industry and understanding hose & fittings would be highly desirable but not essential
  • Superior customer service experience within a highvolume environment
  • Support customers with technical enquiries
  • Provide and process quotations
  • Excellent Communication skills to internal and external stakeholders (Written and Oral)
  • Experience within the hydraulics/mechanical/engineering industry would be beneficial not essential
  • Excellent phone manner with the ability to build strong business relationships with customers
  • Previous experience working with an extensive range of products
  • Strong understanding of technical products and services
  • Stock Management experience
  • Solid numerously skills especially with calculations and measurements
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work in an organised yet fast highvolume environment
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated, driven and proactive with a great work ethic
  • Strong computer skills MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint and purchasing software
  • Must be adaptable and have a cando attitude
  • Ability work independently and within a team
