About you
As our

_Training Programs Lead_, you'll be an enthusiastic and engaged leader who is accountable for successful operational delivery of the Fellowship Support Program (FSP), PEP Specialist Program and the teach out of the Practice Experience Program (PEP). You'll have exceptional communication and organisational skills.

To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- proven success in leading and integrating a diverse team to achieve its strategic goals, and plan to mitigate risks.
- understanding of the challenges experienced by GPs-in
  • Training in Australia.
- ability to evaluate and synthesise complex information into concise and cogent written briefings, reports, paper, and policies.
- high-level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the

_National Rural Training Program Manager_:

- ,_ you'll develop and coordinate strategies for effective coordination of non AGPT RACGP-Led Training Programs to achieve governmental, College and divisional goals ensuring all GPs-in
  • Training are provided appropriate support while undertaking non AGPT RACGP-Led Training.
You'll also lead a group of program coordinators and administrators and promote teamwork across the departments, the business units, and the College.

In addition, you'll:
- analyse and plan operational approaches for the delivery of all non AGPT RACGP-Led Training Programs and their requirements.
- analyse, develop, and monitor the operational budget for all non AGPT RACGP-Led Training Programs in collaboration with the National Rural Training Program Manager.
- oversee the resolution of formal issues raised by GPs-in
  • Training in a timely manner, especially doctors identified as requiring additional training assistance or intervention.
- be responsible for the operational and line management of direct reports.
- analyse the outcome of the structured feedback from GPs-in
  • Training and GP supervisors, and use it to inform operational planning, program designing, policy development and operational process changes.
