A bit about the role
We are looking for a future focused, driven and motivated individual to join the team in the Office of the Director, City Life.
As the City Life Strategic Lead, you will facilitate and support effective cross organisational integrated social and service planning and partnerships with other levels of government, external organisations and stakeholders.
Managing the operations of the Office of the Director, City Life, the Strategic Lead will have a positive focus towards problem solving, change management and projects as they relate to service planning, reforms and strategies under the Council Plan and planning framework.
What you'll deliver
- Facilitate strategic service planning for Wyndham's City Life services
- Maintain and foster meaningful internal and external stakeholder relationships and networks
- Enhance the collaboration and integration of service planning and social policy within City Life and across the broader organisation, identifying opportunities to support the delivery of our organisational aspirations
- Delivery of strategic priority projects under the Office of the Director, City Life and effectively and efficiently manage operational management, procedures and processes
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Communications and Engagement with several years of subsequent relevant experience
- Project Management, business analysis or business modelling experience
- Experience and knowledge of social policy relevant to local government
- Welldeveloped interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Expertise in developing and implementing plans and projects relevant to governments and community services and social infrastructure environment
- A positive, curious and flexible mind
