NRW Holdings is proud to be one of the leading diversified providers of contract services to the resources and infrastructure sectors in Australia. The NRW Payroll team currently support 5 of the 8 business units within the group.

NRW are currently seeking applications for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Belmont based team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager this is a fulltime permanent position, however a part time arrangement could be considered for the right candidate. This position would largely support one of the above mentioned 5 business units but will also be supported by others in the payroll team as needed.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Processing of both weekly and fortnightly high volume pays across a diverse range of projects and agreements
  • Supporting employee payroll requests and queries
  • Assist with calculating payroll adjustments and accruals as required
  • Accurately maintain payroll data and employee records including timesheet data entry
  • Assist in the preparation of scheduled and ad hoc reports related to payroll

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience in end-to-end payroll within a large organisation
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Exposure to setting up of new employees and processing terminations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve
