The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all payroll tasks within the Australian region, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, including expense and allowance claims
- Provide assistance and advice to employees and management on payroll-related matters
- File and submit all payroll taxes, superannuation, insurances, and employee benefit-related costs
- Maintain employee payroll electronic files and collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with company processes and controls
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Payroll related accounts and audit support for Payroll related matters
- General knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Degree qualified in Payroll & Bookkeeping or Finance is desirable
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' payroll experience within a medium to large tier organization
- Sound understanding of Australian payroll taxation, superannuation, and terminations including taxation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly with Word and Advanced Excel skills
