The role:


The Visy Logistics Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Warehousing department at the Epping DC, Reservoir, and Coolaroo warehouses.

Their responsibilities include maintaining high safety standards, promoting a positive work culture, managing costs within the budget, ensuring excellent service delivery, and upholding company policies and procedures.

Reporting to the State Warehouse Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide a safe working environment, lead, and ensure adherence to company, health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Maintain stock integrity through cycle count and stock take processes, ensuring the location and stock accuracy are in line with systems
  • Manage to service of forklift and grab equipment, ensure prestart checklist procedures are followed and recorded for auditing purposes
  • Plan and coordinate the day's activities including pick, stage, pack, inbound and outbound movements
  • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and on time to meet customer requirements
  • Manage labour, overtime and hours worked are in line with demand and volumes

What you will bring to the team:

  • Warehouse and Logistics or Transport and Logistics Cert 3-4 desirable
  • Experience working in a fastpaced warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards and warehouse systems
  • Previously led and supervised mediumsized teams
  • Ability to lead change management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working hours Monday to Friday (may require flexibility)
  • Afternoon Shift 2 pm 10 pm
  • Forklift Licence is highly preferred
