As Governance Manager, play a key role in Coordination, support and guidance across the business to ensure the Change Control Board (CCB) framework is adhered to by the business.

Monitor and provide guidance to projects and business initiatives to ensure the residual risks of change programs are understood and accepted by risk owners and that intended benefits are fully realised.

This role is offered as a permanent position based out of Metro Trains Head Office Docklands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage CCB process ensuring robust management of meeting materials, establishing and prioritising CCB agenda, authoring of CCB minutes and robust tracking of decisions, actions and issues
  • Lead the Pre-CCB forum, ensuring that CCB process owner delegates are actively involved in assisting project managers preparing CCB submissions, ensuring accuracy of content, team collaboration and resolution of open issues prior to CCB
  • Custodian of the CCB framework, leading reviews and implementation of CCB procedure and template updates
  • Support with training stakeholders through CCB process, ensuring each change proposed is adequately defined, reviewed and approved before being implemented.
  • Perform as the conduit between other MTM governance forums and CCB to ensure robust mechanisms and lines of communication exist relating to change approvals and benefit realisation
  • Be the expert in change control processes, continuous improvement and industry best practice learnings to improve longterm business performance
  • Drive daytoday efficiencies where possible such as leading working groups and committees for Network Assets and Assurance as a key advisor
Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification in engineering, business, project management or similar field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability
  • Substantial experience providing service across multiple business areas in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate for key outcomes
