The Opportunity:

McArthur is proudly partnering with Australia's national statistical agency, to find a highly skilled Learning and Development Officer to support the Graduate Development Program.

This is a non-ongoing opportunity for an initial 12-month contract, is flexible for full-time or part-time hours and offers a flexible working arrangement.

The successful applicant will provide a high-level of administrative support to projects, which may include reporting, extracting data from systems and the provision of sound advice to clients, staff and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in LMS administration including confidence in reporting, extracting data from a system, collation and cleaning, and analysis
  • Deliver practical learning solutions relating to the design of course content and understanding how user profiles enable visibility to curated content.
  • liaise with our LMS provider, to problem solve, maximize system benefits and innovate.
  • Collate, clean and analyse e-learning completion reports, user testing and access controls.
  • Work collegially and collaboratively within a small team and provide advice and support to staff and stakeholders on learning and development solutions
  • Contribute contemporary knowledge of current e-learning trends and practices.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to apply sound judgement, and independent decision making.
  • Are solutions focused, and an expert in adapting to the needs of clients, staff or other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with learning management system administration
  • Prior knowledge of Androgogic, Totara or similar Learning and development software.
