Position Summary

Manager, Gippsland Health Service Partnership

  • The Gippsland Health Service Partnership in collaboration with the lead agency Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH), are looking to appoint an experienced, senior level manager to oversee and coordinate the GHSP.
  • The GHSP is a partnership by CEOs of eleven public hospitals in the Gippsland region. The GHSP is part of a wider system of partnerships formed to deliver several strategic system priorities outlined by the Victorian Department of Health. Through driving local collaboration, the GHSP helps to strengthen future offering and viability of health care services for the Gippsland community.
  • Reporting to the Executive Officer GHSP and in collaboration with key stakeholders, the Manager of GHSP will be pivotal in the planning, development and implementation of effective systems that will help build the capacity and capability of the provision of highquality health care to the Gippsland region. This role will lead a team, foster collaborative relationships and coordinate and evaluate projects ensuring that high standards and quality outcomes are achieved in meeting the requirements of the Department of Health Services.
  • We are looking for applicants with experience in program development, large scale healthcare project management, with the ability to prioritise projects, manage risks, implement and analytically review initiatives, effectively manage change, and foster strong working partnerships. Applicants with knowledge of Victorian reform priorities and/or demonstrated delivery of programs, would be highly regarded.
