Job Description:

At our Blayney factory, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic Wet Plant Shift Manager. As a member of the team, reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a culture of teamwork and success, focused on People, Delivery, Cost and Quality.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating labour effectively
  • Develop team members and contribute to succession planning for the shift
  • Manage and lead the team in a manner consistent with Nestle Policies & Procedures
  • Manage processes using SAP
  • Facilitate the use of TPM practices and procedures across the Shift
  • Manage and lead ad hoc Projects that meets Production, Quality & SHE requirements.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure delivery and prioritisation of Production Plan
  • Communicate key issues to the Production Team and escalate relevant issues to other departments
  • Identify and resolve recurring issues through a structured problem-solving approach
  • Facilitate DOR, SOR, WOR and general meetings
Job Requirements:
  • Ensure quality, safety and environment standards are effectively implemented and adhered to in the Production and Warehouse environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised in a safe and responsible manner
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and cross functionality across both Plants
  • Ability to manage & lead ad hoc projects that meets Production, Quality & SHE requirements
  • Computer Literacy
  • Effective coordination of available site resources to meet the tasks required
