As a Call Handler, you will staff and maintain the call centre service during normal business hours and provide a key role to support the wider team to deliver its objectives and work collaboratively across the Quality Management, Risk Review and Response business unit.


You will be responsible for investigating and resolving escalated first-level complaints, concerns from the general public and liaising with various stakeholders, including clients, to gather evidence and information necessary for decision-making to finalize the complaint.

Additionally, you will assess and prioritize all complaints in accordance with the urgency and/or seriousness of the issues raised.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff and maintain the call centre service during normal business hours.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated firstlevel complaints and concerns from the public.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, to gather evidence and information necessary for decisionmaking to finalize the complaint.
  • Assess and prioritize all complaints in accordance with the urgency and/or seriousness of the issues raised.
  • Receive firstlevel complaints or concerns from the general public.
  • Perform administrative tasks of the team, including but not limited to, records management, and directing incoming enquiries.
  • Manage all intake and triage activity, through any and all communication channels.

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with small and large groups.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, solve problems, and work under direction.
  • Understanding of, and experience with, businesscritical systems
  • Ability to problemsolve, with the ability, under guidance, to make sound judgments on sensitive, complex, and competing issues.
  • An understanding of the issues relating to social housing and the complexities and vulnerabilities of the social housing clients

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (desirable)
  • No preemployment medical required.
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check required.
