A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Postgraduate Fellow with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

Selection Criteria:
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
- MBBS or equivalent, registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Possess Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
- Demonstrated experience in GIT surgery, clinical competency and satisfactory references from recent Surgery supervisors
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and computer skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to self-directed learning and demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
- Demonstrated research experience and willingness to teach junior medical officers.
