About the role


As the Digital Experience Officer, you will be part of the Digital Experience Team, and will be responsible for the technical support of our Libraries and Customer Service systems.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design, optimise, publish, and maintain Libraries and Customer Services' online platforms to ensure overall functionality, performance, integrity, effectiveness and accuracy
  • Undertake project activities such as planning, process reviews, requirements gathering, analysis, testing, implementation, and creation of documentation
  • Analyse and present library and customer service data in automated and ad hoc reports to identify patterns and trends, providing relevant advice to the Libraries and Customer Services branch

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • hands-on role, you will need to know how these systems interface with a functioning online library and externally focussed customer service contact centres
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card
  • A current Queensland Driver's licence
  • Possession of graduate or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or progress towards such a qualifications or substantial proven experience within the desired areas
  • A preemployment medical will be required for this role


Please note that Ipswich Libraries operate 7-days per week, and on occasion work outside of the usual span of hours will be a requirement in this role.

This is a permanent, full-time role at Level 5 with a salary package commencing at $90,018 plus a Council contribution to superannuation of up to 12.25%.
