About the role

This is a part-time role that is based in the Griffith. The Womens Wellness team are located in the Griffith Community Centre. This role is responsible for providing Alcohol and other drug counselling and case management to women that are pregnant or have children under 5 years and are having issues with substance use. You will be coordinating care planning in the community setting including referral to appropriate rehabilitation support programs and external services to meet your clients needs and to aid long term rehabilitation. You will provide a high standard of individualised client care, recognising and acting in accordance with the Mission and Values of Calvary Riverina Hospital.


Your main duties will include:

  • AOD Counselling
  • Care planning / Case management
  • Education

About you

  • Registration or eligibility for membership with relevant professional/ discipline body
  • Sound clinical skills & confident working independently
  • Ability to prioritise your work load, have effective time management skills and work with minimal supervision
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
