About the role:


The EL 1 Assistant Director Research and Evaluation will support the delivery of an internal service that conducts research and evaluation using a range of methods to inform business decisions.


Duties

  • Collect and analyse a range of quantitative, qualitative and survey data, including coordinating other members of the team on such activities.
  • Ensure the evaluation is conducted in accordance with appropriate guidelines, standard operating procedures, business standards and ethics requirements, and maintaining project related records. Prepare and present reports and slidepack summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

Required experience/skills

  • Experience in using a range of sophisticated methods including quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external and internal stakeholders to scope, deliver and govern the evaluation. Demonstrated experience delivering end to end formative and impact evaluations which have informed change.

Desirable experience/skills

  • Either an academic or evaluation qualifications. Experience designing evaluations and producing evaluation logics that reflect the stakeholders/business's needs.
