About the role:


The EL 1 Assistant Director Evidence-Based Practice (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes within the Research and Evaluation functions of the business.


The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem-solving and issues management within the Research and Evaluation functions.

The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high-level policy advice and operational support.


The EL 1 Assistant Director Evidence-Nased Practice (Labour Hire) will coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the business's objectives.


Duties:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate research into actions.
  • Lead internal capability activities designed to support evidenceinformed decisionmaking, including online learning and community of practice.
  • Develop resources to communicate research findings.
  • Support implementation of evidencebased approaches into policy and practice. Maintain project records using research software or platforms.

Key skills required for the role:

  • Qualifications in allied health, public health or related discipline (PhD or post-grad qualifications preferred). Expertise in evidence-based practice and knowledge translation preferred.
