About the Role:

We are in search of a highly motivated Branch Manager to oversee operations in Port Hedland.

Neds Property Trust, trading as Eastern Valley Fresh Pty Ltd, runs a horticultural property in Batlow, NSW. The orchard, devastated by bushfires, is being rejuvenated with 115 acres set to yield fruit next year. Responsibilities include managing activities related to planting, harvesting, and ensuring a safe working environment. Implementing new techniques and systems to enhance productivity and quality of produce is a crucial part of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Planning daily farm activities
  • Coordinating farm tasks on a daily basis
  • Preparing rosters for seasonal and permanent staff
  • Training staff on safe machinery operation
  • Evaluating practices to uphold quality and safety standards
  • Implementing processes to boost fruit production
  • Maintaining farm records
  • Optimizing irrigation and drainage systems
  • Managing pest control
  • Overseeing all employees
  • Consulting with the owner on improving practices
  • Ordering chemical sprays and pesticides

WAGE: SALARY $90,000 plus vehicle

Bookkeeping | Procurement Officer:

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping | Procurement Officer. The role involves working across different aspects of the business, dealing with deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Applicants should possess a solid understanding of planning, team management, budgeting, accounting software, purchasing, and interpreting drawings and specifications. The successful candidate must have a dedicated home office space, be open to CCTV installation, and agree to reasonable overtime hours.
