About the role


As the leader of this Growth and Product Marketing department, and a leader in the Tyro Marketing team you will be accountable for setting the overall direction, culture and vision and role modelling the Tyro values without compromise.


Your exciting function will champion the product and the customer You will be pivotal in the delivery of customer marketing strategy and product marketing activities to achieve aggressive growth as well as deepening relationships and executing on a best in market customer experience that drives value for our customers and for Tyro.


Specifically, the role is accountable for supporting the strategic development, implementation and optimisation of product marketing and customer marketing campaigns, customer communications and customer experience initiatives for our customers once they've joined the bank.


With a segment-based approach, you'll be empowered to create plans that encompass the full customer lifecycle including early engagement, upsell, cross sell and retention for our growing range of products including all Payments, Deposits, Lending and Tyro Connect products as well as new and developing products.


Essential to the success of this role is the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with key internal & external stakeholders including the wider Growth and marketing teams, Solution Design & Delivery, Legal and Compliance, Technology, and Finance.


What you'll do:

  • Own and execute on the annual product marketing and CRM strategy and plans to reach Tyro targets leading and developing the function and its members.
  • Gather research and insights to establish segments, market analysis, competitor positioning and comparison to discover and solve customer problems, create product market fit, influence product design and roadmaps to help achieve rapid growth.
  • Develop and socialise the product positioning, messaging, customer personas and adoption and engagement strategies whilst influencing the pricing strategy to the entire marketing org as well as Tyro where relevant.
  • Work in strong partnership with Product. For new any product or notable feature launches lead the go
  • to
market (GTM) strategy with the respective stakeholders to hit key objectives and KPIs. Socialise and communicate plans with the marketing department ensuring members are clear on their roles and responsibilities for launch and optimisation Take accountability for driving product messaging, playbooks, guides, web and collateral updates while leading the customer comms aspect to ensure a seamless go live across respective internal and external assets. Oversee the development and execution of the direct and cobranded CRM strategy across Customer Lifecycle marketing as well as Customer Campaigns in collaboration with your team and with Martech. Work closely with Sales, Growth Marketing and Customer success to deliver customer, product or cross sell strategies as required Upskill team members in using Martech platforms to drive efficacy and effectiveness through any comms channel available. Hold teams and self accountable to identify and action the right metrics that influence end
  • to
end customer behaviour across the product portfolio. Utilising any channel necessary, data, technology and people to develop and execute on the customer comms, engagement, cross sell, retention and advocacy strategies including but not limited to lifecycle comms and Tyro or partner cobranded, customer campaigns.
