As we expand in the NT self-insured workers compensation market, we're seeking a motivated Claims Assistant to be a part of our dynamic team.

In this role, you'll assist our claims teams with various administrative tasks, learn new skills, and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Based in Darwin, your contributions will play a crucial role in upholding Gallagher Bassett's commitment to supporting injured workers and insured clients.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Prepare written correspondence for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, legal representatives, and medicolegal specialists
  • Maintain data in our systems as well as regulators' databases
  • Register new claims and conduct data reviews
  • Send notifications and appointment reminders to injured workers
  • Manage incoming correspondence from various channels
  • Participate in key business projects and learning initiatives
