About the role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Development Manager/Mid Market Account Executive to boost opportunities through our tendering platform for our Builder audience. You'll guide customers through the specifics and benefits of tendering with E1 and how they can expand their network consistently.

As a Senior Business Development Manager in our Builder team, you will:

  • Conduct sales meetings both remotely and in-person where possible with our Tier 3 & 4 Builders
  • Grow our ARR within existing builder customers through mid market/SMB sales, less enterprise focus
  • Oversee an efficient sales process including pitch materials, CRM management, and collaboration with the team
  • Support customer success in onboarding new customers
  • Utilize our database to research decision-makers, schedule sales meetings, and establish lasting relationships
  • Introduce new products to the market and provide consistent feedback to the product teams
  • Document insights from pitches, phone conversations, and events for the CRM and key stakeholders
  • Aid in creating new customer accounts and provide training on our free service basics
  • Collaborate closely with our Customer Success Team to ensure swift onboarding for new acquisitions

About You

  • You're self-driven and can independently meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
  • You have a proven record of managing and closing your sales pipeline
  • You're eager to test the market and introduce new offerings and price points to both existing and new customers
  • You're dedicated to understanding our product's capabilities and value propositions, aligning them with solving customers' core issues
  • Preferably, you have experience in B2B SaaS sales or a sales background in construction
  • You've been part of a company with an established sales team and exposure to sales training
  • You're excited to share insights from sales activities with the team and support other sales teams with your knowledge
  • You're competitive, with a knack for securing significant deals with senior stakeholders
  • You're humble enough to seek expertise within the business and leverage it
  • You excel in leading meetings, engaging with senior decision-makers, and addressing objections
  • You consider our products within the wider industry context - how they aim to impact customers' lives and work methods
