About the role

The Business Systems Manager will play a lead role in initiatives aimed at enhancing and evolving organisational Systems. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in the development and improvement of systems across the organisation that facilitate project management, process improvement, strategy implementation and organisational development. This position will be at the forefront of driving efficiency, innovation, and growth in organisational systems.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated project management experience with an ability to lead, implement and deliver end-to-end project management of IT systems, including planning, resource and execution of plans
  • Proficiency in LMS, CRMs and backend platforms
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, including ability to translate complex information into plain language and actions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Highly Developed Communication Skills - ability to convey technical information clearly (both written and oral) and interact with people at all levels is essential.
  • Previous experience working within an agile team
  • Considerable experience working within cross-functional teams and collaborating and communicating with senior business stakeholders
  • Understanding of business process mapping, integration and system design processes.
  • Understanding of Data Sovereignty
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and behaviour to work alongside people of all cultures, languages, capacities, sexual orientations, gender identities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a culturally respectful and inclusive way, or the capacity to develop these.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing complex projects across multiple disciplines and technologies.

Established in 1981, SNAICC – National Voice for our Children is the national non-government peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. SNAICC's vision is that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families are protected, our communities determine their own futures, and our cultural identity is valued. We work to amplify the voice of community and the sector for the fulfilment of the rights of our children.

SNAICC plays a key role in the following areas:

  • Research and policy development, with high-level leadership, policy and sector representation
  • Training and resource design, development and delivery including topics such as early childhood development, partnerships, family support, trauma, and cultural competency.
  • Support for sector development, membership, and networking.

About the Unit:

SNAICC's Office of the CEO oversees the efficient management of all CEO Office operations, administration, initiatives and encompasses the following key business areas:

  • Strategic Engagement & Communications
  • Operations & Planning
  • Governance
  • People and Culture
  • Finance
  • Corporate Services (legal and compliance obligations)
  • Administration
  • Inclusive positive team culture
