About the role

The Pricing and Insights Lead is responsible for informing and supporting TUH to make pricing decisions aligned with its strategy while managing risks appropriately.

This role plays an important function in providing insights related to consumers and macrolevel trends to develop actions that ensure the best interests of our members are maintained.

The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Subject matter expert in financial modelling and performance analysis, along with the ability to provide advisory and support to the Head of Product and Analytics.
  • Development of TUH's Stress Testing Program and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Financial impact and performance analyses for underwriting activities.
  • Manage the annual premium round process.
  • Assist the Head of Product and Analytics with product changes and strategy development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Analytics Lead to develop analytical tools to improve TUH's business outcomes.
  • Identifying customer/provider behavioural segments and changes in behaviours by combining business knowledge and quantitative trends
  • Periodic management and/or regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to lead and coach a small team.
  • Develop processexcellence team mindset and methodologies.

About you

You are a passionate and highly experienced financial modeller and performance analyst, with a strong drive to identify, develop and deliver insights that influences and informs business decisions.


You are degree qualified in a quantitative discipline with several years work experience in a relevant field such as financial services.


You enjoy working collaboratively with a team of like-minded people to find the best solutions for the overall purpose of the organisation.


You will bring strong communication skills and will present confidently when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to the business.

You are experienced with change management, and have a deep understanding of financial risk and reward trade-offs.


You are technically strong in Excel, SQL, MS PowerBI and able to manipulate large data sets to deliver business insights.


It is desirable if you have had prior leadership experience, an understanding of financial services regulation, and applied understanding of consumer behaviour.
