About the roleWe are seeking a seasoned strategic leader to join our team as Head of Strategic Partnerships.

You will be responsible for building and growing high-impact partnerships that expand Flex's reach, unlock new revenue streams, and accelerate go-to-market (GTM) momentum.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in partnership strategy and execution, with a track record of building, managing, and scaling enterprise partnerships and/or channel partnership programs.

You love the art and science of unlocking revenue growth through partnerships, and have deep experience working with Sales and Marketing to unlock customer acquisition and optimize the impact of these partnerships.

You excel in building relationships within partner organizations at all levels, and collaborating with Flex's Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Engineering, and Enablement teams to drive vision, strategy, and execution against our most significant GTM partnership opportunities.

This position is a people manager role, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships.

What you'll do

Drive business results by leading the expansion of our portfolio of new and existing strategic partnerships

Identify and execute new partnership opportunities that accelerate GTM momentum for Flex

Own defining partnership strategy and operating models to maximize revenue growth through partnerships

Proactively develop and own oversight of the partnership programs that drive joint marketing and sales initiatives, working closely with internal cross-functional teams

Build a world-class partner development operating model that unlocks growth for Flex with our partners

Manage and grow a team of business development and partnership professionals, providing mentorship and guidance

Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement

Represent Flex at partner conferences and events, building brand awareness and fostering thought leadership within the partnership ecosystem

Lead the development and approval of joint business plans, support legal agreements, and guide internal teams in accessing product management, development, support, and training resources

Lead cross-functional working teams with participation from Sales, Marketing, Support, Product and Engineering; rally resources and focus to help optimize and maximize impact from your partners

Contribute to the overall growth of the Flex partner ecosystem with best practices, ideas, and strategy development

Key qualifications

8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel partnerships in a leadership role

Successful track record of driving significant customer acquisition and/or revenue outcomes through enterprise partnerships and/or channel partnership programs that you built or managed

Experience building, managing and leading strategic partnerships team(s) in SaaS or FinTech

Strategic problem solver with the ability to develop and implement long-term partnership strategies aligned with business objectives

Deep cross-functional experience, blending sales, marketing, product, and operations, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands and prioritize effectively

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement data-driven partnership strategies

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment

Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop detailed GTM strategy & plans

Autonomous, focused, hands-on, get-it-done mentality

Positive, upbeat, and assertive personality

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
