Hours per fortnight

Duties


Provide high level research, analysis and advice on policy and program issues relevant to Communities, Partnerships and Priorities and contribute to solutions, proposals and recommendations.

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and initiatives that progress the strategic direction and objectives of the Government and DPAC, in collaboration with government agencies, non-government organisations, business and the community.

Assist with monitoring the implementation and impact of policies, programs and services within the Community Policy and Engagement.
Effectively liaise and consult with State agencies, key DPAC personnel and other stakeholders on a range of policy issues.

Produce a range of written material, including briefings, discussion papers, grant guidelines, reports and documents to support meetings of advisory bodies.

Coordinate designated projects and initiatives.
Represent the Department in a range of relevant forums.

The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or experience to similar level.
