After working in recruitment agencies for over 10 years, I established Pinstripe Recruitment to offer an alternative, as I always thought recruitment could be done differently and better. I was tired of meaningless KPI's, lack of flexibility, inexperienced and unethical recruiters, high staff turnover and forever moving goalposts. Clients and candidates were demanding something better – so I went out on my own to build 'a smarter way to recruit'.

Through organic growth, I am now seeking another Consultant to join my team.

Here's a life-changing opportunity to step into the world of being self-employed and to let your entrepreneurial spirit run free. It can be a little daunting, but you don't have to do it on your own.

Working under the banner of Pinstripe Recruitment – you will be using some of the industry's best cloud-based software, processes, and systems to provide a much-needed bespoke recruitment service to your clients. Mentoring is provided to help you reach your goals.

Work remotely, flexible hours, build and manage your own accounts and be rewarded with a great lifestyle and up to 70% commission (uncapped earnings)

Pinstripe Recruitment partners with clients in the Professional Services arena to find full-time, permanent, white-collar professionals - typically in the Accounting and Finance, Legal, Insurance, Real Estate, and related industries, Australia-wide. (not I.T. or Blue collar recruitment)

To be successful in this role ...

You will need to be highly self-motivated, tenacious, proactive and outgoing. You will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strong commercial business acumen and offer a caring, consultative approach to candidates and clients. To fast-track your earnings and build your business, ideally, you will have existing trusted contacts and networks in Melbourne that you can reach out to in terms of offering a refreshingly different recruitment service.

A minimum of 5 years of agency recruitment is essential. You will already be confident in new business development, rate negotiations, account management, taking job briefs, writing advertisements, database searches, screening and interviewing candidates, building talent pools, negotiating job offers and salaries, defending counter offers, and after-placement service as you nurture and build clients for life.

While we all work remotely, it's still valuable to network wherever possible in person and meet clients face-to-face. If geographically possible, sponsorship into a proactive, Melbourne referral-based business network group will be offered to allow you to grow and build your business.

You'll be part of a small, inclusive remote team that zooms together weekly for catch-ups and talk to each other multiple times during the week. We're all about getting results for our valued clients in the most professional manner and taking great care of our candidates. (To fit our team culture, it helps if you love animals, a glass of wine, good food, and have a good sense of humor and adventure)

Earning expectations per annum is $100K minimum – but the sky is the limit. This is a commission-only role where you will be generously rewarded for your efforts, the professional relationships you build, and the authentic service you offer.
