This is a flexible, fixed term contract role for 6 months, commencing July 2024.

We are looking for a Project Engineer with FMCG pedigree who has demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholder's interests in delivering wide variety of Projects.

We will consider someone full-time, part-time, or an external contractor for the role.
Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the end to end management of projects at our Gympie Manufacturing site.

You will need a strong customer service ethic and be results focused to ensure that all internal customer's needs are understood, aligned and met through the delivery of each project, whereby you willneed to:
Ensure all Project activities comply with relevant OH&S guidelines and legislative compliance
Support all functions with the development of Capex Project justifications and submissions
Prepare Project budget proposals, submissions
Develop Project Business Cases
Financially manage projects to ensure delivery is within the agreed budget
Forecast, update and track CAPEX spend
What Will Make You Successful
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Demonstrated experience in a relevant Project Management/Project Engineering role
Engineering Degree and Project Management qualifications
Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and/or food processing technology, preferably in an FMCG environment
High degree of computer literacy, including Auto CAD, Excel, MS Project
Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to relay appropriate communications at all levels of the Organisation, suppliers and contractors
Comprehensive Change Management experience, including reviewing and understanding internal and external Compliance documentation and regulatory standards
People and Contractor management experience
It is essential that applicants are eligible to work permanently in Australia
Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks prior to appointment to this role.
