Project Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Contract Manager to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and proactive contract management and risk mitigation strategies for the Metronet project.
Key Responsibilities- Apply contract, claims, and insurance management manual and Alstom governance.
- Collaborate with the core project team to prepare the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
- Analyse the contract to build and drive the implementation of the contract and claims management strategy plan and continuously update it on an ongoing basis with the project team.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with contract obligations, including tracking the project schedule to meet contractual milestones.
- Issue contractual notices to customers and partners in a timely manner.
- Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondence, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims preparation.
- Monitor and manage correspondence by analysing incoming and outgoing communications with customers and partners.
- Develop and produce project-specific processes and methods for contract/claim management.
- Anticipate events and risks associated with contract management activities and propose alternative proactive solutions to maintain control.
- Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis to protect Alstom's interests with customers and partners.
- Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and to identify, maximize, and leverage claim opportunities.
- Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience in contract and claims management in the delivery of railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.
