About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join a major civil project in Perth, working on the upgrade of pavements and ground lighting for a large existing airfield. The scope of the project includes asphalt and concrete surfacing works and the installation of new communication utilities.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be part of a highly accomplished project management team, supporting the Project Manager by liaising with client representatives, managing subcontractors, planning and programming of works, cost control, forecasting, and progress reporting, QA/QC, and mentoring junior engineers.

This role is ideal for a competent Senior Project Engineer with around 6+ years of post-graduate experience, including asphalt surfacing projects, looking for a Perth role.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ years of civil construction experience as Project Engineer/SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for Civil Contractors in Australia or NZ
  • Previous experience as a PE or SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on road/airport/airfield runway surfacing projects/contracts including asphalt or concrete surfacing
  • Previous Australian Department of Defence or Aeronautical Ground Lighting experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of Civilpro quality management system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Existing rights to work in Australia
  • Able to furnish 2 favorable references from the last 5 years
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
