Your Future Role:

As a Project Contract Manager for the Metronet project, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of contract management strategies, ensuring compliance with Alstom's business objectives. You will work closely with the Project Director and the project team to manage extensions of time, variation orders, and contract amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Alstom's contract, claims, and insurance management manual and governance.
  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
  • Analyse the contract to build and drive the implementation of the contract and claims management strategy plan.
  • Monitor work to ensure compliance with contract obligations and track project schedule milestones.
  • Issue contractual notices to customers and partners in a timely manner.
  • Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures.
  • Monitor and manage correspondence with customers and partners.
  • Develop and produce project-specific processes and methods for contract/claim management.
  • Anticipate events and risks associated with contract management activities and propose alternative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Extensive experience in contract and claims management in the delivery of railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.
