Port Operations Officer role and support the effective and efficient running of common user berths and Brisbane International Cruise Terminal (BICT) with a strong focus on customer service and compliance.

  • An understanding of Risk and Compliance and the ability to comply with the appropriate governance regarding all port operations systems and standards.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation such as MTOFSA, Dangerous Goods Safety management Act, Transport Infrastructure Act, Transport Operations Marine Pollution Act and the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
  • Familiarity with the Maritime industry is highly regarded but not essential.
The roster will include weekend work (penalty rates apply).
