Join us in this Marine Assistant role, providing exceptional support to the Marine team across a range of activities.

In this role, you'll:

  • Administer and monitor all Marine Crew and Vessel certification
  • Monitor compliance against legal and company requirements and report anny abnormalities
  • Coordinate the TSHD Brisbane crew roster, ensuring that the vessel is always manned with qualified personnel in accordance with the safe manning certificate
  • Coordinate crew travel in line with operational and budgetary requirements
  • Act as the liaison officer for the vessel whilst it is in Brisbane
  • Coordinate with the liaison officer for the vessel when it is out of Brisbane
  • Assist the Marine Maintenance team with administrative tasks
  • Greet all visitors at the Operations Base in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner, deliver site inductions and ensure the Visitors Sign-In Book is completed Assist Marine department with purchasing and stores and act as leave relief for stores coordinator
  • Proactively engage, monitor and provide guidance to all crew in the use of PBPL safety management systems and procedures to ensure all crew follow the PBPL's policies and procedures
  • Assist in the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the Marine Business Unit as directed
