About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, managing payroll, overseeing rosters, and assisting departmental heads with HR and recruitment administration.

Your duties will be, but not limited to the following:

Duties

  • Accurate and timely processing of payroll into accounting system in accordance statutory requirements
  • Maintain payroll & employee information
  • Update & maintenance of payroll records
  • Ensure leave requests, employee deductions & tax declarations are maintained
  • Oversee rosters & timesheet approvals from supervisors
  • Undertake recruitment & provide shortlists to managers
  • Monitor induction records & training requirements
  • Provide employee reporting to management
  • Adhoc administration & reporting as required

Skills & experience

  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience
  • Proactive & confident communicator
  • Competent with payroll software (MYOB) & Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to recruitment & HR administration would be advantageous
  • Food processing, or some sort of production / manufacturing environment is sought
  • Strong organisational skills & mature levelheaded approach
